Payeezy
Overview
Payeezy is a credit card processing and ACH processing platform, created to help customers process payments through its POS systems. They offer scalable and secure online and mobile payments and support over 140 currencies and over 50 countries.
How to Connect
Steps to connect Payeezy and ChargeOver together are below!
In Payeezy
To connect to Payeezy, you will need to obtain your Merchant Token. If your Merchant Token has not already been provided to you by First Data, you will need to contact us in order to acquire it.
Once you have done this it is time to get ChargeOver and Payeezy connected!
In ChargeOver
- Go to Settings then
Payment Methods - Click
Add or Configure a Payment Method or Merchant Account
- Select
Payeezy from the choices - Enter your Merchant Token
- Scroll to the next section and designate which payment types you accept (Visa, Mastercard, ACH, etc.)
- Click
Save Settings when finished

Common Decline Messages
If you are unsure what a Payeezy decline message means or what to do next, the most common error messages you might encounter are explained below.

ERR_DECLINE | Payeezy told ChargeOver the payment was declined. | You or the customer should contact Payeezy to discuss the reason for the decline. |
ERR_CREDENTIALS | Payeezy told ChargeOver that your authentication credentials for Forte are incorrect. | You should contact Payeezy and fix the credentials you use to connect to them. |
ERR_EXPIRED | Payeezy told ChargeOver the credit card has expired. | You should contact the customer and ask them to provide a new payment method. |
ERR_CVV | Payeezy told ChargeOver the credit card was declined due to an incorrect CVV/CVC security code. | Your customer should provide a correct CVV/CVC security code, or provide a new payment method. |
