Add Ons
Overview
ChargeOver has many additional features that you can enable to utilize and integrate ChargeOver closer with your business. Add ons exist in ChargeOver because we want you to be able to customize your ChargeOver account effectively.
Go to your settings or the gear icon in your account, to begin enabling your add ons. Certain add ons are only available when you are on a certain plan with us. Reach out to sales@chargeover.com if you have any questions regarding an upgrade to your plan or simply to have a trial run for a certain add on you are interested in checking out.
Our available Add Ons are listed below.
- Use accounting closing dates to prevent invoices and transactions from being created or adjusted if they are dated on or before the set closing date. This allows for more accurate financial tracking
- Use brands to separate your businesses, route payments to different gateways and allow customers to use certain payment methods at checkout
- Use bundles to roll products into one line item and take less clicks to set up a subscription, quote or invoice
- Use capaigns and lead sources to track leads for customers
- Use cancel reasons to track the most common reasons your customers cancel with you
- Use chargebacks to record and keep track of any payments that customers have disputed
- Use coupon codes so your customers can apply these at checkout on hosted sign up pages and receive a discount
- Use custom events to send emails to yourself when a certain event occurs. Common examples are when a customer adds a new payment method or they attempt a payment but it fails
- Use custom fields to track peices of data custom to your business workflow. Custom fields can be added to invoice and quote PDFs and tracked within our reporting
Custom Menu Entries
- Use custom menu entries if you want a custom panel of tabs on your main ChargeOver dashboard, with URLs from different softwares, quick access to any custom reports you use daily and more
- Use the customer portal to give your customers transparency into their invoices and subscriptions with you. Allow them to see their payments and make payments through secure link
- Use dunning and reminders to send automatic reminders and emails to your customers about upcoming or overdue invoices, automatically suspend or cancel subscriptions on a certain date and much more
Embedded Content
- Use embedded content to embed URLs within your subscription line items, ChargeOver dashboard or customer portal
- Use hosted sign-up pages to give your customers a customized checkout page that you can link to your home website. Allow them to apply discounts and buy bundled products with ease
- Use late fees to counter any fees you are charged from your gateway or penalize your customers for leaving an overdue invoice unpaid for
Memos
- Use memos to leave custom notes on a customers invoices, subscriptions and quotes that the customer can see. Maybe you want to drop a longer product description here or remind them of a change that will be happening with their account. Memos can be edited at anytime
- Use parent and child customers to allow customers who have have francises to be tracked and easily pay for their childrens invoices
- Use processing fees to counter the gateway fees you are charged and automatically apply them to each payment that is attempted through your gateway
- Use proration when you constantly have customers changing their subscriptions and need to bill them in advance or arrears
- Use quotes when you want to proprose an amount to a customer ahead of time, before they agree to a subscription or invoice
- Use revenue recognition when you want to track when revenue has been "earned" instead of collected
- Use rewards points to allow customers to purchase points that may be redeemed for other product purchases
- Use scheduled payments when you want to have one-time invoices set to auto-pay or you have customers who want to pay in chunks instead of all at once
- Use subscriptions when you want to continually bill your customers without having to create manual invoices all the time
- Use taxes to auto-apply the correct tax rates to your customers invoices
