Overview

Connecting to the Adyen payment gateway allows you to accept credit card payments in ChargeOver.

How to Connect

Steps to connect Adyen and ChargeOver together are below!

In Adyen

You'll be provided with these pieces of information when by Adyen:

  • Merchant Account

First, you'll want to check on several options inside of Adyen.

  1. Log in to Adyen, and go to Developers and then Additional data
  2. Enable the Acquirer options shown below

  1. Scroll down to the Payment section, and enable the Recurring details option

Next, you'll need to get your API credentials from Adyen. You're going to need to get these pieces of information:

  • Username
  • API Key
  • Live URL Prefix
  1. Log in to Adyen, and go to Developers and then API credentials
  2. Click the Create new credential button
  3. Enter ChargeOver for the description, and continue

  1. On the next page, you'll be shown the Username, API key, and (if you're not in "test mode") the URL prefix.

Once you have all the required items, go back to ChargeOver.

In ChargeOver

  1. Go to Settings then Payment Methods
  2. Click Add or Configure a Payment Method or Merchant Account
  3. Select Adyen from the options
  4. Enter in the required information
  5. Scroll to the next section and designate which payment types you accept. For example, Visa, Mastercard, ACH/eCheck and more.
  6. Click Save Settings when finished
