Using Tags for Reporting Purposes

In ChargeOver, you can apply tags to payments, invoices and customers. These tags can be used for reporting purposes, grouping, and more!

Tags can be used for a variety of purposes. They create a way to group together customers, invoices, or payments etc. together. A common use case is to tag clients for custom reporting purposes.

Tags Used for Tracking

  • Types of service
  • A department within your business
  • Referrals

To Add Tags to Your Customer

  1. Go to your customer's overview page and click their Edit tab

  1. To add tags to your invoices, click into the invoice you want to tag and find the tags section under the invoice actions box
