## Overview 

[Eway](https://www.eway.com.au/) pride themselves "on being honest, helpful and human" and have 25 years of experience as a payment provider! ChargeOver supports connecting to Eway to process credit card payments. 

## How to Connect

Steps to connect Eway and ChargeOver together are below!

### In eWAY

To connect your eWay account to ChargeOver you’ll need to obtain the **Eway** **API Key** and **API Password.**

1. Login to [MYEway ](https://go.eway.io/SiteLogin)
2. Hover the mouse on the **My Account** tab located at the top of the page, then click **API Key**
3. Your API Key is already generated and available in the **API Key** field at the top of the page. You can simply click the **Copy To Clipboard** button to copy the API Key to be pasted in to ChargeOver
4. Click ==Generate Password== to attain your password
	- A password can only be viewed **once** after it has been generated, so be sure to copy it!

### In ChargeOver

1. Go to your **Settings** and select ==Payment Processing==
2. Select ==Add or Configure a Payment Method or Merchant Account==

3. Select eWay from the list of available payment processors

4. Enter your **API Key** and **Password**

5. Once you're done entering the credentials, make sure to select which payment methods you would like to process through Eway
6. Click ==Save== when finished

## Common Decline Messages

If you are unsure what a Eway decline message means or what to do next, the most common error messages you might encounter are explained below.
