## Overview 

ChargeOver supports connecting to [Cliq]( https://www.cliq.com/) to process your ACH payments. According to their website, they "are the champions of commerce." 

## How to connect

Steps to connect Cliq and ChargeOver together are below!

### In Cliq 

In order to connect your Cliq account with ChargeOver, you will need some credentials. 

* Merchant ID
* Service Key 

These will have been provided to you by [Cliq](https://www.cliq.com/) during sign up.

Once you have these, you can go back to ChargeOver to get the two connected!

### In ChargeOver

1. Go to your **Settings** and select ==Payment Processing==
2. Select ==Add or Configure a Payment Method or Merchant Account==
3. From the list of gateways, select ==Cliq==
4. Enter in the required information
5. Click ==Save Settings== when finished

✖️ No.

If you are unsure what a Cliq decline message means or what to do next, the most common error messages you might encounter are explained below.

| ERR_DECLINE     | Cliq told ChargeOver the payment was declined.                                                  | You or the customer should contact Cliq to discuss the reason for the decline.                    |
| ERR_CREDENTIALS | Cliq told ChargeOver that your authentication credentials for Forte are incorrect.              | You should contact Cliq and fix the credentials you use to connect to them.                       |
| ERR_EXPIRED     | Cliq told ChargeOver the credit card has expired.                                               | You should contact the customer and ask them to provide a new payment method.                     |
| ERR_CVV         | Cliq told ChargeOver the credit card was declined due to an incorrect CVV or CVC security code. | Your customer should provide a correct CVV or CVC security code, or provide a new payment method. |
